Alaska Day Hikes

Blue Ice Aviation's home base is located at mile 115 on the Glenn Hwy in the community of Sheep Mountain. Sheep Mountain is a very small community consisting of two lodges, an RV Park, and a couple dozen locals. It is a phenomenal location sitting in between the Chugach and Talkeetna mountains and only two hours from Anchorage. Not only is it a great location for our Air-Taxi, but it's also a wonderful place to take a quick day-hike before eating a piece of pie down at Sheep Mountain Lodge.
